POWERHOUSE TAKES BLUEPRINT TO THE WORLD

The introduction of Powerhouse™ Blueprint™ software (patent pending) brought a new level to service and technology for pro shops. Now it’s also bringing Blueprint™ to serve the bowlers of Finland.

The European Ten Pin Bowling Association is hosting a three day coaching seminar November 11 -13 in Kourtane, Finland. Both Jouni Helminen, of Sport Bowling Finland, and Mike Quitter, Ebonite International’s VP of Sales, will present a two hour session showing International Coaches and businessmen how to conduct a bowler Demo Day, where bowlers can try out new equipment prior to purchase.

In addition, Powerhouse Brand Manager Rich Hanson will be included in a separate 5-day Level 3 Coaching Seminar, with USBC’s Rod Ross and Niel Stremmel.

Hanson’s portion of the seminar will cover the new Powerhouse™ Blueprint™ software and instructions on building an arsenal of equipment. With Blueprint™, a specific drilled ball simulation can be applied to a virtual lane surface and oil pattern to see exactly how that ball will react, taking into account the bowler’s attributes.

For more than five years, Powerhouse™ has been teaching pro shop operators everything they need to know to run a pro shop, from measurements to drilling and merchandising to inventory. While they haven’t yet taught a clinic outside of the United States, it’s definitely in the plans to do so… soon.

“Powerhouse™ is an area that offers great growth opportunities for us in Europe and Asia,” said Quitter. “Now that Rich is here full time, the goal is to develop and present full seminars on our Powerhouse™ line of pro shop equipment and supplies.”

Blueprint™ software gives Hanson an excellent opportunity to test the waters overseas.

“We really want to introduce these Coaches from different nations to the benefits of using Blueprint™ when helping their players build an arsenal,” said Hanson. “We also want to show these people the breadth of the Powerhouse™ lineup of Pro Shop Equipment so that they are aware when advising their National Federations of equipment suppliers.

Hanson and Quitter are definitely looking forward to the trip.

“Finland is a beautiful country, and the people are so warm and friendly,” said Quitter. “We always get a great reception when we go there, and can’t wait to see some of our old friends.”
